About MAIS
The Mediterranean Association of International Schools is a professional organization that strives to improve the quality of education in its Member schools. It promotes the professional development of Faculty, Administrators, and Board Members, promoting communication and interchange and creating international understanding.
MAIS serves as a liaison between its 42 Member Schools,
30 Associate Member organizations as well as other regional,
professional, and in-service organizations.

Presently, MAIS is composed of schools from 16 different
countries, including Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Italy,
Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Spain,
Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.
In addition, several Associate Members, such as schools outside
the Mediterranean region, colleges, businesses, and interested
individuals, support MAIS.

Membership
MAIS's focus is to help its members evaluate and meet the varying educational needs which result from providing an American education in an international setting. MAIS Members and Associates are provided with opportunities to liaise with Member Schools through their participation at the Annual MAIS Conference and other MAIS activities throughout the year.

Associate Memberships are available for schools, colleges, businesses, and interested individuals and organizations worldwide.
